Неурядові організації як суб'єкти кримінологічної політики
Кандидат юридичних наук (2021). Старший викладач кафедри політики у сфері боротьби зі злочинністю та кримінального права Карпатського національного університету імені Василя Стефаника.
Досліджую роль інститутів громадянського суспільства у запобіганні злочинності та приведення українського законодавства у відповідність до європейських стандартів. Понад 20 публікацій, зокрема у виданнях, індексованих у Scopus і Web of Science.

What happens to crime prevention policy when the state can no longer deliver it alone?
Since 2019 I have argued that non-governmental organisations in Ukraine are not auxiliaries to state prevention policy but subjects of it in their own right. The claim was developed in my doctoral thesis (2021) and formalised in a tripartite classification of the subjects of criminological policy, which separates those who form policy, those who implement it, and those who merely enable it.
The war has turned that argument from a proposal into a description of fact. My work is comparative and has a consistent normative aim: bringing Ukrainian criminal legislation into workable alignment with European Union and Council of Europe standards. Alongside the academic post I practise as an advocate at the Ivano-Frankivsk Bar, which keeps the research answerable to how the law actually operates.

Guardians by Default
Civil-society institutions have become de facto actors in protecting vulnerable groups from hate-motivated and conflict-related violence in wartime Ukraine. The project reads their position through the positive-obligations doctrine of the European Court of Human Rights — Identoba, Beizaras and Levickas — and against the requirements of Chapter 23 of Ukraine's EU accession negotiations.
